Additional Celebration
January 3, 2026 | The Element Kuala Lumpur | Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Details to be announced.
While we expect that most people will attend the event that is
geographically
nearest to them rather than traveling internationally, we
invite all of our friends and relatives to join
us for both events. We would be thrilled to see you in either
location -- or
both! If you are U.S.-based and considering joining us to
celebrate in Malaysia, please
reach out.

Frequently Asked Questions
(We're actively editing this section -- if it looks incomplete, it's because it is!)
Questions About Our New York Wedding
What should I wear to the wedding?
The dress code for the wedding is "Cocktail Attire". Usually, this means suits and
tea- or floor-length dresses. We want you to feel
comfortable and have fun, so feel free to dress
up or down as you like.
The weather in New York in
June is usually warm and our ceremony will be outside if the weather allows.
When should I arrive?
Our ceremony starts at 4:30pm. Please arrive no earlier than 4:00pm and no later
than 4:15pm. If you are taking the bus from the hotel, you should get on the bus by
3:00pm
for a prompt 3:15pm departure. Please be on time! It's about a 40-minute trip from the hotel
to the venue.
When can I check in at the hotel? Can I get ready in the hotel?
The hotel check-in time is 3pm. You can arrive at the hotel early to drop off your
bags and use the lobby and restrooms. You can also call after 12pm on the day of
your check-in to see if the hotel is able to let you check in early. (If you are staying at the
hotel the night before the wedding, you can of course use your room to get ready!)
What is the food situation?
We will provide a full meal at the reception. If you have any
dietary restrictions, please let us know when you RSVP. Between the ceremony and the reception,
there will be a cocktail hour with stations and hors d'oeuvres.
What is the alcohol situation?
We will have an open bar at the reception.
What is the parking situation?
There is plenty of parking at the venue. We will provide more details on parking
closer to the date.
Can I take pictures and videos?
We would love for you to take pictures and videos and share them with us! We will
also have a
professional photographer at the event. Please be respectful of our photographer and other
guests
when taking pictures.
Questions About Our KL Celebration
I'm a USA-based friend or relative. Can I come to your KL wedding?
YES! We would love to have you join us in Malaysia. We
understand that it's a long trip and do not want any of our guests to feel pressured to attend
two weddings, but if you want to make the trip, we would be thrilled to see you there. We will
provide more details on the KL event closer to the date.
How do I get to Malaysia from the US?
KUL airport is well-connected with direct flights from many major cities around
the world. There are no direct flights from anywhere in the U.S. to anywhere in Malaysia. Many
people transfer in Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, or Doha. Travel can take as little
as 21 hours or up to 45 hours depending on your route. If you are visiting Malaysia on a U.S.
passport, you do not need a visa.
